Sportfish of the Kalix River

The following fish are all native to the Kalix river

	Salmon (Salmo salar)
	Sea Trout (Salmo trutta)
	Grayling (Thymallus thymallus)
	Pike (Esox lucious)
	Perch (Perca fluviatilis)
	Bream (Abramis brama)
	Orfe (Leuciscus idus)
	Burbot (Lota lota)
	Zander (Stizostdion leucioperca)
	Whitefish (Coregonus albula)
	Roach (Rutilus rutilus)

The following fish can be found in put and take lakes within the Kalix council area

	Rainbow trout (Onchorhyncus mykiss)
	Arctic Char (Salvelinus alpinus)
	Brook trout (Salvelinus fontinalis)

The following fish are also native to the Kalix river:

Eel (Anguilla anguilla), Bullhead (Cottus gobio), Bleak (Alburnus alburnus), River lamprey (Lampetra fluviatilis), Minnow (Phoxinus phoxinus)
